He has always desired to express himself by drawing. Already creating at 5, his studies suffered as a result. Although he pursued a career in Mechanical Sciences, he never forgot his love of Art. Encouraged by an artist friend, Jacques was brought back to this love, and began to paint, exploring various techniques, and copying the Old Masters. With dazzling light he blends realism and fantasy: billowing sails in a sea of clouds, exotic airplanes, and supersonic witches. Old legends blend with his personal experiences as he tries to find a way maximize the emotion of each piece. Jacques is an artist who defines his own journey, and presents us with his surrealistic vision of the future.
